The GTQI will select one candidate per year as a GTQI Postdoctoral Fellow. The deadline for application this year is July 1st with a nominal starting date for the Fellowship of September 1. Since the Fellowship posting is late this year, a starting date on January 15th is also a possibility. The appointment will be for 1 year, renewable for two. The selected candidate is expected to interact/collaborate with one or more of the GTQI Fellows. Below is the announcement for the 2008/2009 competition published in the May issue of Physics Today and IEEE spectrum. Note that the Fellowship is for either science or engineering people excited to work in the quantum information field. The specific research projects underway at GTQI are described on this website. Please contact individual GTQI Fellows about potential research for this Fellowship or additional postdoctoral positions within their research groups.
